We connect you with independent local tree pros; we don't do the work. TreeHelp Connect is a referral service. The tree companies are separate businesses that set their own prices and are responsible for their own work, licensing and insurance, and they may pay us for referrals. Before work starts, ask for proof of liability insurance and a written quote. Full disclosure
Common questions
Will trimming hurt a healthy tree?
Done correctly, pruning removes dead or conflicting wood and can improve clearance and health. Heavy topping is different and usually harms the tree, so ask how the crew plans to cut.
What about limbs near power lines?
Lines on the utility easement are the utility's job. Call your power company for those. A private pro can trim limbs clear of the house once the utility zone is safe.
How is trimming priced?
Usually by the number and size of trees and how much climbing or lift access is needed. Ask what cleanup is included.
Is TreeHelp Connect a tree company?
No. We're a free referral service. We connect you with an independent local tree pro, and that company does the work and gives you its own quote.
Does it cost anything?
It's free for homeowners. Tree companies may pay us a referral fee, and that doesn't change what they quote you.
